I have done some research on Hong Kong architectures' characteristic, it's include modernism and postmodernism. In the 1841, Hong Kong became colony of Britain and that was the time Hong Kong started to have the european architecture. But at the same time, Hong Kong had many Chinese architecture because it was China's territory before British took over.

Murray House is one of the building that built in the 19th century and it's contain Victorian and Edwardian architecture styles. Although it's a postmodernism building, the interior has become restaurants and fashion store.

In the late 1990s, many urban buildings started to appear in Central, HSBC is one of the signature building. It was completed in 1985 and it was a urban building surrounded by many postmodernism building such as the court of final appeal, which was just in front of it.
