Theory that applied in the project:

Cultivation theory is a media communication theory, it was developed by George Gebner and his colleagues. It is mainly focus on the effect of TV programming towards the audience. In the TV story telling, it were produce two appearance, resonance and mainstreaming(Gebner, Gross, Morgan al., 1979). Resonance is that if the audience can match up the scene between reality and the tv show, audience would believe what they have see through the tv show. Mainstreaming is that the behaviour and consequences of the effect between different people or groups would become closer. The process of mainstreaming divided into three parts, blurring, blending and bending. These three parts would change the value and concept though watching tv show a long period of time.

In this case, people affected by the film and tv programme that love is no longer loyal to a man or woman anymore. There is no true or false in love, they purchase love for excitement, and joyful. The influence of media is powerful hence that the value of love were changed.
