I will explain why do I change the format of my video in this blog. At the beginning of making this video. I want to make a Docudrama to explain how the 'Bing Gor' affect the view of love of the teenager in Hong Kong. For Docudrama, it means that use a movie to tell story about a real events that have happened. With the experience sharing from my interviewee, Desmond, I create a storyboard and scripts about him. And I want to explain the culture of 'Bing Gor' through the story of Desmond. So I want to shoot a Docudrama to explain it.

When I create the story, I think Docudrama is not the best way to present the culture. At last, I changed the format of the video and I decide to make a microfilm. It's because the major idea of my video is focus how the culture of 'Bing Gor'. And that is how 'Bing Gor' portray the view of love of the teenager in Hong Kong. Besides that, I want to present that why the culture of 'Bing Gor' is so popular and become one of the mainstream in Hong Kong. That is the documentary video I made in project 1. So I want to focus on the world that portrayed by 'Bing Gor' and I decided to create a microfilm.

And here is a referencing video for me.
Director - Joshua Wong Producer - Spencer Douglass DP - Derrick Fong Lead Actress - Regen Cheung 張惠雅 Lead Actor - Jason Tobin A Laundromatte Production

This microfilm won the silver award at the Hong Kong Musical Microfilm competition in 2015. And this microfilm is about the view of love of teenager and portray the world with lots of doors. And the main actress will go through it to express different emotion. And one of the features of this microfilm is without any dialogue. It present its theme through difference footages. And this is one of the great ideas I admire so much. So I create my microfilm after watching the referencing video.
