Behind the Social Media
Project statement:
Social Media play a important role in our life, all of us would share some moment of our life to other. However, the dark side of social media is the perception of perfection. Someone on social media looks like having a unique life and seem awesome. It may make you feel insufficient; however there are someone wants to be recognition by other and created a fake life on social media. Sometime they only show the awesome part in the photo to make other feel inadequate. Social media is about presenting the ideal version of yourself, but it’s more like, all the best parts of you displayed to the world and ignoring all the worst parts.
In this Photo Media production, i would like to took a series of photo to show how reality can easily be faked on social media. I will trying to show how alike we have all become in trying to create a picturesque life that not only may not be it as it appears, but also may not actually even be livable.
