(Part 4)
Hand carven Mahjong has its own distinctive design, one of the following reasons is due to it’s handcrafter using different tools to create it’s extraordinary pattern as the tools have been used for generations passed on by either their masters or parents.

MEI: The tools of carving mahjong are actually pretty simple. Only a few tools are needed to carve mahjong. These are razors, some needs to be handmade, even money cannot buy it. Big, medium, and small, are sizes, are present, these are used to carve the dots.
-Then we used this to carve the white dragon.
-This is used to carve the one dot.
-This is used to carve one bamboo. The indents in the middle are used to indent the tiles.
The knife has followed me since I was 13 years old, it used to be 8 inches long but now it's 4 inches long. It's very useful.

If it's Blunt just use the knife stone to sharpen it. Once the indent has been made, we follow the indents and carve out the one bamboo.
