filming day 3 outdoor + voice recording
For the final filming day, my main actress and
I took the ferry from wan chai to Tsim Sha Tsui. I had chosen to film there as
I believed many vloggers would want to share the most beautiful sights of their
city to their audience, in this case, the famous Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong.
However, we did come across some lighting problems when filming in the Tsim Sha
Tsui harbour front as our shooting crew consisted only of me and my actress, we
didn’t have enough hands to give us additional lighting in some of the scenes
and had instead turned to making the best use of whatever artificial lighting
we could find. And this has resulted in the different tones of lighting
throughout the film. For certain scenes, I have found out after that my camera
could not pick up some of the more important but dark scene. Also, some of the
earlier shots were unsatisfactory and therefore, I had to reshoot some shots
and discard other shots
We went to the 1881 heritage site as there were
relatively few people there during the late evening time which made it perfect
for filming privately.
Voice recording was done on a separate day.
