Mo Tak Kan woke up.
(Mo Tak Kan voice):我是今年中六的畢業生，我叫毛德簡。從小到大，我都有一個夢想就是做一個時裝設計師。但是，原來除了我的名字是毛德簡，連我的人生都好像是不能選。This year I am a highschool graduate. I am Mo Tak Kan. From childhood, I have a dream that is to be a fashion designer. However, I cannot choose my life.

Mo Tak Kan is drawing.
Mother walk to the room of Mo Tak Kan and knock on the door.
Mo Tak Kan hide the sketchbook.
Mother open the door.
Mother: 還沒有睡。Not yet sleep.
Mother: 德簡，這麼晚為何還沒睡?你又在設計時裝的圖嗎? Tak Kan! Why not sleep? Are you designing the clothing again?
Mo Tak Kan: 沒有呀，我只是在看有關醫學的文章。No, I am reading the article which is about medicine.
Mother: 不要騙我了，你是我生的，我怎會不知道你在想什麼。這次你又把圖藏到哪裡?拿出來!沒收! Don't lie to me. I am your mother. I know what are you thinking. Where did you hide it? Take it out! Confiscate!
Mo Tak Kan take the result out. Mother snatch it.
Mother: 聽媽媽的話，做時裝設計師收入是不高的，做醫生吧! 媽媽在你身上花了那麼多錢，就是想你將來能賺取多一點金錢，在這個社會，沒錢是不行的。知道嗎? Listen to me. Fashion designer cannot earn much money. Be a doctor! I use much money because of you since I hope that you can earn much money in the future. In this society, no money is not acceptable. Understand?

Schoolmate: 毛德簡!毛德簡!毛德簡!Mo Tak Kan!Mo Tak Kan!Mo Tak Kan!
Schoolmate: 終於放榜了! 從小到大，我都只想做一個空姐，可以周圍去，想起都興奮。你呢? 你真的要做醫生嗎?Finally, the result of Diploma of Secondary Education was released. From childhood, I would like to be a stewardess and travel to different places. How about you? Do you really would to be a doctor?
Mo Tak Kan: 你知道的，我都不能選擇。I have no choice.
Schoolmate: 但是，當時裝設計師一直都是你的夢想。However, be a fashion designer is always your dream.
Mo Tak Kan: 沒辦法，我媽媽喜歡。No way, my mother like.
Schoolmate: 你的人生不是應該自己決定的嗎? 怎可以為了其他人而活，你要想清楚，不要令自己後悔。Be the boss of your own life. Don't let yourself to regret.

Mother: 德簡，你回來了，公開試成績如何呀? Tak Kan! You are back. How about the result?
Mo Tak Kan: 還可以。Not bad.
Mother: 拿出來看看。Take it out and let me see.
Mo Tak Kan take the result out. Mother snatch it.
Mother: 什麼!還說可以?幸好這分數還可以去面試，你面試的時候要答得好一點呀，知道嗎? What! Is it really not bad? Fortunately, you can go interview. You must do the best in the interview.

Mother: 德簡，你的信呀! Tak Kan! Your letter.
Mo Tak Kan: 謝謝你! Thanks!
Mother: 什麼來的? What is it?
Mo Tak Kan: 是醫學院邀請我去面試的信。It is the invitation letter for interview from the course of medicine.
Mother: 如果你公開試考得好一點，就不用面試了，你要好好準備，知道嗎? If you can do better in the exam, you will not need to have interview. You must prepare well.
Mo Tak Kan feel sad.

Location: Livingroom

Mo Tak Kan: 明天就要面試了，怎麼辦，我不了解醫學，對醫學又沒有興趣，如果明天他們問我為何要讀醫學我要怎麼回答才好。Tomorrow is the interview day. What can I do? I am not really understand medicine and have no interest. If tomorrow they ask me why I would like to study medicine, what can I answer?
Mother walk out from the kitchen.
Mother: 德簡，明天就要面試了，你準備好了嗎? Tak Kan! Tomorrow is the interview day. Are you ready?
Mo Tak Kan: 我...我準備好了。I...I am ready.
Mother: 這次的面試很重要，你要好好回答教授的提問知道嗎? This interview is very important. You must answer well.
Mo Tak Kan: 哦! O.
Mother: 你要答得認真一點呀，你知道媽媽一向都希望你當醫生。You must answer the question seriously. As you know, I always want you to be a doctor.
Mo Tak Kan feel sad.
Mother: 出句聲。Say something.
Mo Tak Kan: 知道了，很煩呀，常常都在提。I know. I know. You are so annoying. Always say that.
Mother: 你突然在發什麼脾氣? Why are you throw a tantrum?
Mo Tak Kan: 我本身對醫學都沒有興趣，如果明日他們問我為何要讀醫學我要怎麼回答才好。難道要說因為媽媽喜歡我讀醫學，因為醫生收入高? I have no interest in medicine. If tomorrow they ask me why I would like to study medicine, what can I answer. Don't tell me I answer that since my mother like me to study and doctor can earn much money.
Mother: 回答這些問題有什麼困難的，你可以跟他們說你從小到大都很喜歡醫學，當醫生是你的夢想和覺得很有意義。 我只是不想你將來後悔。To answer this question have no difficulty. Just say that you like medicine. Be a doctor is your dream and it is meaningful. I just don't want you to be regretful.

Mo Tak Kan walk in school.
Staff: 同學是否來面試的? 請坐。Are you come here for interview? Take a sit first.
Mo Tak Kan sit down.
(Mo Tak Kan voice): 其實在這數天，我一直都在想，如果我的人生一早被其他人安排好，這樣的話我的人生是否真的是我的人生呢? Actually, in these few days, I always think that if my life is decided by others, is it really my own life?
(Mo Tak Kan is thinking): Schoolmate: 你的人生不是應該自己決定的嗎?你要想清楚，不要令自己後悔。Be the boss of your own life. Don't let yourself to regret.
(Mo Tak Kan voice): 沒錯，這是我的人生，我的人生是應該由我自己決定的。Yes! It is my life. My own life should decide by myself.
Mo Tak Kan run out from the school and run back home.
