The workbook is an essential record of your production process, and an integral part of your project. It is where we go to find evidence of your working method.
Please feel free to include sources from and notes on your theoretical and aesthetic ideas, diaries, scanned sketches and paste-ups, drawings, storyboards, scripts, notes, shooting schedules, or any relevant examples of materials you are studying (e.g. links or screen grabs of website designs, embed photographs, films stills and link to articles).
The workbook should show evidence of the intellectual and creative development of the project, your editorial control of your material and evidence of material discarded. It should document your ability to respond creatively to changing circumstances, and to organise your time effectively. The workbook blog will demonstrate that you have undertaken a consistent and semester long engagement with the production process for each project. You need to begin at the start of the year the process of collecting your thoughts and ideas; we will be basing our consultation sessions with you on your blog posts.
Your final work should be embedded or linked to the blog.
Happy blogging!
